Black Lives Matter by Aviral Agarwal There are many cases of abuse to black people for no reason and a lot of racial discrimination. One of these cases is the murder of George Floyd. George Floyd was accused of using a counterfeit 20 dollar bill. The police officers came and arrested him for using the counterfeit money. But while they were arresting him a white police officer put his knee on George Floyd’s neck for 9 minutes. George Floyd continuously said “I can’t breathe” and pleaded for his life. Eventually he had to go to the hospital and died there because of that police officer. George Floyd had died just because he allegedly used a counterfeit 20 dollar bill. He may have been innocent but he still died. Derek Chauvin was then put in jail for the murder of George Floyd. It’s so shocking that people still abuse black people.
